The original for this print was done with sumi ink on hand marbelized paper. I am inspired by Asian art and my experimentation with sumi ink led to this series which speaks to my love of equine art and the fluidity of Asian art. There are 3 horses on Color Splash Ranch and they inspire me constantly with their antics and spontaneity. One of my favorite subjects to paint because they are every expressive and ever changing. I hope you find this inspiring as well.
